About Us
Children Love Music !
Through listening and active participation children develop confidence, self-
control and pleasure in their ability to understand musical concepts such as
beat, rhythm, tempo and pitch. (Although they think they are just having
fun) Both parent and children have an aesthetic experience in a musical and
playful environment. The one hour parent/caregiver not only introduces your
baby and older children to many new songs and lap games but also builds a
repertoire of activities for parents to continue to do at home. Parents discover
the magic of music as they sing songs confidently with their children while
driving, waiting for appointments and just for the pure joy of it.
During a class children will be exposed to a variety of musical instruments
while they are moving, singing, listening or participating. At musical motion we
have class sets of bells, shakers and drums. Jane might accompany them with
her singing voice, recorder or ukulele.
