🍷🍊🍒 Did somebody say SANGRIA? We're getting so ready to soak in the sunshine and patio weather, that we wanted to share one of our favourite Sangria recipes with you - made with our Spanish Tempranillo Bobal, now available for reservation!
Try this simple, fresh, and delicious Red Spanish Sangria made simply with just 6 ingredients!
1/2 medium apple 🍎 (cored, skin on, chopped into small pieces) 1/2 medium orange 🍊 (rind on, sliced into small pieces, large seeds removed / plus more for garnish) 3-4 Tbsp organic brown sugar (or 3 Tbsp (37.5 g) organic cane sugar) 3/4 cup orange juice (plus more to taste) 1/3 cup brandy or rum (plus more to taste) 750 ml bottle medium-bodied 🍷 Spanish Tempranillo Bobal, or other dry red wine ~1 cup Ice to chill
Mix It Up! Add apples, oranges, and sugar to a large pitcher and muddle with a wooden spoon for 45 seconds. Add orange juice and brandy (or rum) and muddle again for 30 seconds.
Add Tempranillo Bobal / other dry red wine and stir, then taste & adjust flavour as needed. Stir to combine. Add ice and stir once more to chill. Serve as is, or with a bit more ice, then garnish with orange segments for extra fresh appeal and presentation.
