🍋 If there's one summer rule to live by...it's that it's important to stay hydrated. 😅 While we're open to all the classic wine cocktails including spritzers, fizzes, sangrias and more — this week, we're serving up New York Sours for our happy hours! What's a New York Sour, you say? Simply add a layer of wine to a whiskey sour for a classic cocktail with a wine twist! 🍷 Here's how to make your own:
🥃 Combine bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup (we're using maple syrup!) in a cocktail shaker and shake until cold, before straining it into a glass. Now comes the fun part! Hold the back of a spoon right above the top of the glass, then gently pour red wine on top of the spoon into the glass. Since the wine hits the spoon first, it will settle into a layer on top, making for a stunning presentation and an even smoother taste.
