Welcome to The Academy of Music and Performance in Brantford, Ontario!
This is a very exciting time for us and the city of Brantford.
Here at The Academy we take a very unique approach to music lessons. We offer musical instruction in Piano, Guitar (acoustic/electric/classical), Ukulele, Bass, Drums, Percussion, Cello, Violin, Songwriting and Performance Coaching and Vocal. That’s just the beginning. We’re focused on how to make the experience of music lessons different from the way most of us remember them.
It starts with the teacher.
We at The Academy provide a diverse pool of instructors with different musical backgrounds. Whether through the curriculum of the Royal Conservatory of Music, a post-secondary education in music, or many years of individual instruction and dedication, we have a well-rounded staff of instructors to suit any student.
We want music lessons to be what they should be: Fun!
Learning a musical instrument is highly beneficial for a myriad of reasons, but it also requires discipline, dedication, and motivation. “Fun” does not have to be exclusive from “casual”, “professional”, “serious”, or “formal”. We’re dependent on your expectations, and our instructors will work with you to make sure that we’re providing them to you.
Whether your little rock star is performing their first song for everyone in the living room at your next family holiday gathering, or ready to launch a full and dedicated career in the music industry, The Academy of Music and Performance staff are here to help them on their way.
