We opened the original downtown Brantford location in 1988 as Al Dente Pasta House. In 1990 we added the dessert café, specializing in cheesecakes. In 1992 we moved to our present location at 250 King George Road as Al Dente Fresh Pasta. Over the last 31 years we have added the patio and the wine bar. We have also Introduced the grill and pizza menus. The company name changed to Al Dente Pasta Pizza Grill and we began to focus on local products and "back to basics" cooking. Today we make our bread and pasta from scratch as well as our own signature sauces and dressings. Our "from scratch" Caesar dressing is our best seller and has become a Brantford favorite. The desserts still include a wide variety of home made cheesecakes as well as fresh carrot cake. Our wine list includes the best that Ontario has to offer VQA. We also offer local Craft Beers and boast 10 dedicated taps which enables to provide our customers with the widest variety of Craft Beer in the city.
