My mission is to provide my clients in the Brantford area high-quality services to handle their needs promptly by combining my skills, knowledge, and expertise with a dedication to cost-efficient legal services.
I have lived in Brantford for over 25 years and love the city with its historical backdrop and the new life that has been brought to our city with Laurier University and Conestoga College. I worked at Bell Canada in downtown Brantford and have left after a successful 25 year career.
Why do you need a paralegal? Paralegals are regulated by the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) which is the same organization that regulates lawyers on behalf of the public. The Law Society overseas Paralegals to ensure they provide competent services within a limited range of legal services. My business is focused on Landlord and Tenant Law on behalf of Landlords. My goal is to try to protect the investment property by ensuring their tenants are following the rules. The Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 is there to protect both tenants and Landlords, however at times landlords are hesitant to proceed with their legal rights. That is where my role begins.
Wenda Allicock Legal Services specializes in assisting Brantford landlords with problem tenants, representing landlords at the Landlord and Tenant Board, seeking out new tenants as a rental agent and assisting landlords with small claims court.
