Last week, the Kneaded Care team had the opportunity to meet (VIA Zoom) with Rebecca Suprun from @mindfulpathcounselling. Rebecca was helpful in discussing health care worker burnout and how to take time for ourselves. She helped us recognize the importance of self care, and what self care can look like (food, exercise, journaling, music etc).
Rebecca has inspired our team to take part in a 30 Day Self Care Challenge. There's no doubt that these past 1.5 years has been a roller coaster for everyone, and our team has done a fantastic job taking on new responsibilities and adapting to change. The schedule has remained BUSY and that is great! However, with the busy schedule comes fatigue and burnout. This past session with Rebecca couldn't have come at a better time and we are ready to take on this self care challenge and recharge our batteries!
