Myth Or Fact? πThe sound you hear during a manipulation is the bones cracking?π * * * * * * * MYTH! The "popping" and "cracking" sounds you hear during a spinal manipulation is actually air being released from the joint space. We do not, nor would we ever, "crack" a bone in your body.
Spinal manipulation is performed to help relieve pressure on joints, reduce inflammation, and improve nerve function. It is often used to treat back, neck, shoulder, and headache pain.
Our physiotherapists at Kneaded Care have specialty training and certification to be able to perform manipulations.
